Areas of Practice

Depression

Navigating life with a constant sad and/or uninterested feeling can interfere with a happy life with ourselves and loved ones. Even when circumstances get difficult, it is important to live a life that is hopeful and happy.

Anxiety

Life can be so unpredictable. The constant worrying and fear leads to an exhausting and unfulfilled life. It is important to find ways to problem-solve and cope with life’s worries and anxieties.

Trauma

Emotionally-disruptive and distressing experiences can result in behaviors that are dysfunctional and possibly lead to other mental disorders. It is important to process these traumatic experiences to lead healthy, functional lives.

Relationships

Many people do not attribute their relationship challenges to their own emotional and mental issues. Relationship issues are a prominent indicator that one is dealing with mental health challenges. It is important to be aware of these behaviors that affect relationships and develop the skills to navigate them, while becoming healthier.

Life Transitions

Major life changes can be difficult to manage. Some may easily navigate the process, but sometimes the change can bring on a range of different issues. Through therapy, coping strategies can make the transition easier and manageable.

Other Mental Disorders

Depression, anxiety, and trauma are not the only mental disorders. There are many disorders that can often occur in conjunction with the mentioned disorders. Management and improvment of symptoms can be difficult when there are multiple factors affecting the ability to develop coping strategies. It is important to seek the necessary mental health support to lead a more functional life.
